Why OwnYT uses YouTube to sign in
New users often ask: “I want Instagram likes — why do I have to open YouTube?” Because YouTube is the key, not the only destination.
One login, several public links
OwnYT stores a Google session so we know who you are and how many credits you have. After that, every order is just a public URL: a YouTube video or an Instagram post. We do not need the Instagram app password. We do not need TikTok credentials.
If a site asks for those passwords, leave. OwnYT will not.
What happens after you click Start with YouTube
- Google shows the OwnYT permission screen.
- You return to the dashboard with a credit balance.
- You stay on OwnYT. You do not “give us the channel” in the sense of a takeover. You paste links when you want an order.
You can stop using the panel whenever you want. Revoke access in your Google account if you prefer a clean break.
What the login is not
It is not a request to change your YouTube password. It is not a download.
If you only publish on Instagram, you still use YouTube to enter, then you order on Instagram links. That is the design, not a bug.
See the flow on the homepage: How it works.
Try this on OwnYT
Sign in with YouTube, get free credits, and spend them on subscribers, likes or views. No extra app password.
